For the week of September 16-20, Days of Our Lives spoilers focus on cranking up the intensity as Connie’s killer and kidnapping crime spree ends.
Not-So-Smooth Criminal
Connie’s (Julie Dove) reign of terror may end sooner than you think. After all, things are starting to veer out of control. There are too many avenues of chaos that she can no longer control. And this may be the quirky murderer and kidnapper’s undoing, especially since Rafe (Galen Gering) is awake from his two-month coma.
Next week, the person who has had extensive conversations with a cardboard cutout puts her final plan into action. And if teasers are to be believed, it comes to an explosive climax. Is this in a literal or figurative sense? Once the dust settles, will her targets, including Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) and Melinda (Tina Huang), walk away unscathed, or will there be casualties? Can this really be the end of the Connie Viniski era?

Vague Memories and Stunning Moments
Salem’s Acting Police Commissioner is dealing with some heavy emotional situations. Thankfully for Jada (Elia Cantu), Rafe is awake and talking. He also remembers a little bit from when “someone” stabbed him in the back. The other day he heard a voice that viewers could tell was Connie’s. What happens when Rafe shares this vague memory with Jada? Will she get closer to the truth about Ms. Viniski?
Well, that little bit of intel might help her crack the case because later, Jada is stunned by what she finds in Connie’s bed. Is it Melinda Trask?
Odds and Ends
Look for Gabi to make a suggestion to EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel). Their night at the DiMera mansion might have been strictly revenge sex. However, she did tell Connie that she wouldn’t mind continuing to have a sexy side hustle with EJ. So that leads to a big question: Are Gabi and EJ catching feelings for each other? Stranger things have happened. (Check out what else is going on next week in Soap Hub’s DAYS 2-week breakdown)
As for Gabi’s soon-to-be ex, Stefan (Brandon Barash) gives Paulina (Jackée Harry) damning information. This isn’t surprising, considering he’s undoubtedly out for getting his sibling fired as DA..again. Gabi sleeping with EJ cut Stefan to his core. Yes, she inflicted maximum damage, and his only recourse is to keep this hamster wheel of revenge going, which is exhausting. At some point, they’re going to run out of revenge material, we say, hoping this is true.
Finally, everybody seems to be able to tell that Abigail (AnnaLynne McCord) is Fabigail. Yet Chad (Billy Flynn) refuses to give up on this strange woman who infiltrated his life for reasons we don’t know yet. Her brutal catfish continues next week when she recalls a special memory. Of course, Chad is deeply moved and falls for it hook, line, and sinker.
