For the week of April 29 – May 3 on Days of Our Lives, spoilers focus on characters dealing with disrespect, payback, and situations beyond their control.

DiMera Secrets and Payback

EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) is up to no good, yet at the same time, there are those plotting against him. So the DA and temporary DiMera CEO will have a rollercoaster of a week. (Find out which DAYS alum is about to guest star on CBS’s Tracker here)

First, EJ decides to make Paulina (Jackée Harry) pay for disrespecting him. He will no doubt attack her at the political level and make sure she loses that mayoral title she loves, right? He’s already threatened to exploit her snowplow radioactive superhero incident. Second, Stefan (Brandon Barash) and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk — who recently celebrated a birthday) continue to make inroads in ousting EJ from DiMera. Don’t these pseudo-siblings ever get tired of backstabbing each other? Finally, and most importantly, Leo (Greg Rikaart) tells EJ a life-changing secret. Does Lady Whistleblower reveal THE secret? The one where Jude is really the baby Nicole (Arianne Zucker) lost? If it is, exactly how much of this mammoth secret does he divulge?

Suspicious Mind

Yikes, the environment surrounding Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) and Eric (Greg Vaughan) isn’t improving. Next week, the two continue to fight over money. He sussed out her “generosity” in funding Leo’s hotel room at the Salem Inn. The two sneaky individuals tried to cover, but guess clueless Eric didn’t completely buy their cover story. Because he eventually asks a dreaded question: Is Leo blackmailing Sloan (After all, the walls are closing in on her)?

Hopefully, that bit of unpleasantness doesn’t ruin what’s going on at The Spectator. Nicole is surprised to learn that Eric will be working at the paper. Per Sloan, Leo put in a good word for Eric with Chad (Billy Flynn). And now he’ll FINALLY be making money with his considerable photographic skills. After an awkward start (understandably), Eric and Nicole get comfortable with each other (even more understandably). Will the two collaborate on a story?

Odds and Ends

Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Paulina worry when Chanel (Raven Bowens) gets sick. And then her symptoms start to worsen. Is this an effect of a radioactive Paulina saving her baby and carrying her inside the Horton cabin? Or is it something else — like a pregnancy?

Now that Thomas (Cary Christopher) has returned his precious card, Konstantin (John Kapelos) completely controls John (Drake Hogestyn). While under his control, the con man orders the man formerly known as The Pawn to do his bidding. Could it be to break into Maggie’s (Suzanne Rogers) safe and snag the prenup? Because that’s a pesky development, Konstantin wants nothing to do with.

Whoa — Tripp (Lucas Adams) and Wendy (Victoria Grace) say their goodbyes to family and friends. They must be heading to Wendy’s home so she can catch up with her parents. Is this a temporary or a permanent goodbye?
