For the week of November 4-8, Days of Our Lives spoilers focus on wedding anniversaries and potential announcements. Plus, family heirlooms, and here’s a heartbreaking heads-up: Julie takes care of Doug.
The bad news is that Eric (Greg Vaughan) recently left Salem to return to Paris, where he’ll reunite with Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and Jude (Oliver McLarty). However, there’s good news. DAYS is all about the returns. Vivian (Louise Sorel) and Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) are back. Heck, we even briefly saw Ivan (Ivan G’Vera). And many more characters are set to return. For example, Belle (Martha Madison) and Paul (Christopher Sean) head to Salem next week. They’ll be there for Marlena (Deidre Hall) and John’s (the late Drake Hogestyn) wedding anniversary.
In addition to supporting Marlena, we’ll hopefully get an update on Shawn (Brandon Beemer). Are Belle and Shawn still together? Has he course-corrected his life? Is he over the guilt of shooting his father? Also, we’re interested in whether Belle will share scenes with both EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) and Philip. As for Paul, he attended Alex’s (Robert Scott Wilson) and Theresa’s (Emily O’Brien) disastrous wedding with Andrew (Colton Little) not too long ago. It’ll be great to see him again so soon. Also, where is Andrew?

Rafe’s (Galen Gering) aunt left her engagement ring to him and new-to-town Cousin Javi (Al Calderon) feels a type of way about this. There’s a little jealousy going on. Thankfully, Rafe and Javi come to terms over this family heirloom. What are the terms exactly?
It’s a good thing the cousins figure out a solution because it feels like Rafe and Jada (Elia Cantu) are about to take the next logical step in their relationship when they make an announcement to the family. Does Rafe ask his partner in every way to marry him? Hold up — is Rafe in an actual healthy relationship that will end with him blissfully wed? We’ll believe it when we see it.

The heartbreaking element of next week’s episodes is a story kicking off on November 8, also known as the 59th anniversary of DAYS. According to teasers, Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) takes care of Doug. Doug’s portrayer, Bill Hayes, passed away at the beginning of 2024. However, his character will be written out when Doug’s memorial service is held in December on the day the soap marks a milestone, its 15,000th episode.
For the moment, we’re not sure how Stefan’s (Brandon Barash) absence will be handled. Will Vivian devise an excuse to tell his family and Gabi (Cherie Jimenez — who talks Stefan and Gabi here) if she decides to utter one word to that woman? Regardless, they “signed” (Vivian forged Stefan’s signature) the divorce papers, and Gabi’s suddenly single again. In the meantime, look for EJ to attempt to console Gabi over Stefan and the so-called end of her marriage.
Finally, Clyde (James Read) has escaped and, of course, he must hightail it back to Salem. He can’t get enough of that place. This time, Clyde asks Chad (Billy Flynn) for a mysterious favor. What could he possibly want from the man whose life he just tried to destroy?
