For the week of November 25-29, Days of Our Lives spoilers focus on Thanksgiving reunions and reconnecting, food, and feasts. And then Julie’s life changes forever.
Belle (Martha Madison), Paul (Christopher Sean), Andrew (Colton Little), and JJ (Casey Moss) have already returned to Salem. However, more big returns are in store, including Eli (Lamon Archey), Lani (Sal Stowers), and their twins. Eli and Lani celebrate with Abe (James Reynolds) and Paulina (Jackée Harry). Hopefully, we’ll get an update on what Lani has been doing now that she has been out of prison for a few months. Undoubtedly, they’re looking forward to spending some holiday quality time with the Horton side of the equation as well.
In other news, Jack (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves this time) finally return to Salem for Thanksgiving. They have family to see and Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) to confront at some point, right? JJ recently said Jack especially reeled when he learned Cat was only pretending to be their late daughter. And now they have to grieve their dead daughter all over again.

The Kiriakis clan spends Thanksgiving together. After a particularly dark and tumultuous phase for the Kiriakis family that stretches back to Konstantin and then includes Fiona’s reign of terror, it’s time for the dysfunctional family to have a chill Thanksgiving feast.
There will be drama, but maybe not as much as Theresa (Emily O’Brien) and Alex’s (Robert Scott Wilson) busted wedding. Let’s see: Maggie’s (Suzanne Rogers) thorn in her side, Konstantin (John Kapelos), is dead. And Fiona (Serena Scott Thomas) made a beeline out of town after she escaped any charges for Sarah’s hit-and-run. On the positive side, Xander (Paul Telfer) and Brady (Eric Martsolf) are on good terms…for the moment. Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) may still be trying to walk again. Alex isn’t in a completely toxic relationship. Sure, Xander and Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) hate each other, but maybe they can get along for the day. What could go wrong?

The holiday cheer suddenly ends when Julie’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes) world shatters. She has been diligently caring for Doug (the late Bill Hayes) for a while now since he hasn’t been feeling well. Unfortunately, her husband of almost five decades dies. Thankfully, Julie’s family is there to support her and grieve in their own right. Jack, Jennifer, and JJ are in town, as are Eli and Lani. And there will be more to come.
While the Hortons process this heartbreaking news, Salem learns of Doug’s passing. He meant so much to so many people in this town. They will remember the man who’s been everything from a con man to a restaurant and lounge owner to a temporary resting place for the devil himself.

Finally, look for Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Shawn (Brandon Beemer) to comfort each other. Do they comfort each other in Salem at this point? Or are they still in Europe by Bo’s (Peter Reckell) side?
