For the week of December 9-13, Days of Our Lives spoilers focus on Hope catching up with friends. Meanwhile, Chad, Cat, JJ, and Gabi must outwit, outrun, and outlast Clyde Weston while Jada staffs up at the Salem PD.
Catching Up
Hope’s emotions must be all over the place. First, she thought the love of her life was showing signs of waking up from his coma. Bo (Peter Reckell) moved his fingers, but unfortunately, it didn’t mean what she hoped it meant—that Bo was waking up. Then, she flew to Salem to say goodbye to her father.
Hope (Kristian Alfonso) is in major grief mode. Thankfully, she reunites with Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), Steve (Stephen Nichols), and Roman (Josh Taylor) before heading back to Bo’s bedside. They can relate to what she’s going through. They loved Doug (the late Bill Hayes) and want Bo to wake up as much as she does. Hopefully, something positive will happen soon. Could it be that Bo is really waking up? He’s just taking his old, sweet time.

The Danger Club
Chad (Billy Flynn) and JJ (Casey Moss) just found out about Doug (the late Bill Hayes) passing away. Instead of being with their family, Clyde (James Read) chose that inopportune time to want to make the exchange for Cat (AnnaLynne McCord). JJ and Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) are the decoys, while Cat and Chad wait to see if they can unleash a surprise attack on Clyde and get the best of him.
Since Clyde is, for some reason, always five steps ahead of everyone, things go bust. Apparently, this leads JJ to try to save Gabi from Clyde. What happened? How did Clyde get the jump on them? Chad and Cat also find themselves in danger. This whole mission has certainly taken a turn. Maybe Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) was right to worry about her son.

Odds & Ends
For the last few months, Jada (Elia Cantu), the PCPD Police Commissioner, has been a one-woman band. The staff has been obliterated, and she needs help. Rafe (Galen Gering) is off being a private eye, so Jada decides to offer Shawn (Brandon Beemer) his old job back. Before she does that, she’ll no doubt have to make sure he’s not spiraling, drinking, or wallowing like he did the last time he worked there. Or sleeping with her sister.
Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Ava (Tamara Braun) have slowly developed a connection. Heads up: there’s more of the same on the way. Yes, the two continue to bond. Obviously, they do this at their own peril. They know what their bonding will do. It will make Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) very angry. And you don’t want to see Kristen when she’s angry. She will do more than smash. She will unleash. holy hell on them. But you do you, guys!

Jennifer gives Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) some bad news. Poor Julie. As. if she needs the heartaches to pile up. But what does Jennifer tell her? Her grandmother’s priceless diamond necklace is missing? Or is this about Hope’s instincts about Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer)? Did Jennifer do some digging and come up with dirt on Doug’s alleged grandson? She needs to know he’s a shady individual. And she needs to know now.
