EJ better watch out. Two guns are now in the mix. And Johnny tells Chanel what he wants to do to his dad. And it sure sounded like a threat.

 Comments

EJ’s world continues to crumble, especially now that Roman and Kate told Johnny the truth about how he came to be. The Monday, March 17, 2025, episode of Days of Our Lives wasn’t a lucky one for EJ as Johnny raged against him and Jada and Rafe attempted to discover the truth about DiMera’s role in Rafe’s captivity. Plus, two guns are in the mix, and that’s never a good sign.

The Road to EJ’s Hell

The road to EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) getting shot is paved with threats, disappointments, anger, and thirst for revenge.

Let’s start with Johnny (Carson Boatman) and EJ, however. Johnny raged against his father for one particular sin of the past. He raped Sami (Alison Sweeney) in exchange for his help in saving Lucas’s (Bryan Dattilo) life. Johnny seethed, despaired, and unleashed holy hell on his father. Even if EJ wasn’t holding himself accountable for his actions, his son sure did.

Johnny railed against his father for his excuses. It sounded like EJ victim-blamed Sami, but then he deflected his actions and put them on Stefano (the late Joseph Mascolo). Ultimately, EJ knew he was to blame, no matter what the circumstances were at the time. Now, Johnny feels that he has completely lost his identity and faith in his father. And his love has turned to hate.

Oh, and he also said this: “I hate him, Chanel (Raven Bowens). I swear to God, if I had a gun right now, I’d kill him.”

Threat made.

The Guns of Salem

We know someone will shoot EJ sooner rather than later, so it’s not a shock that Salem’s residents frequently name-dropped EJ in Monday’s episode, including Paulina (Jackée Harry), Jada (Elia Cantu), Rafe (Galen Gering), Belle (Martha Madison), and Brady (Eric Martsolf). In addition, two guns are currently in circulation.

Gun #1: In Ava’s Possession

Ava (Tamara Braun) and Melinda (Tina Huang) had an interesting conversation at The Bistro. While Ava didn’t want to serve Melinda because she’s Kristen’s lawyer, they ended up having quite the sitdown that ended with Melinda handing Ava her concealed gun.

This was purely for protection, but there are a million ways that intention could go off the rails.

Gun #2: In Kristen’s Possession

Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) surprised her unhinged mother in the attic at Aremid. Rachel (Ros Gentle) searched for and found a special “keepsake” that Kristen demanded she hand over.

Of course, the Woman in White’s plans involved using the gun on Ava in “self-defense.” Kristen now has the gun. The initial intention may not be to use it on EJ, but that’s what could end up happening.
