Some key family members are back in Salem. One wants power, one wants her son, and one just wants to have fun, according to the Days of our Lives spoilers preview. Meanwhile, a pair of young lovers are about to succumb to passion, but will they be interrupted? Here’s your DAYS video preview for the week of October 28 – November 1, 2024.

Prodigal Son

A long-missing Kiriakis heir returns to Salem. “I’m back,” announces Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier). “Philip,” snarls Xander (Paul Telfer) as Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) looks on.

It looks like there may be a power struggle for control of the family’s empire on the horizon. “I’m Victor’s son too,” shouts Philip, staking his claim as a prominent member of the powerful clan. Xander charges toward him, muttering, “Son of a bitch.”

Who’s That Guy?

Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) receives a visit from someone she’s very fond of. “Hola prima (That’s ‘Hello, cousin’ in English). What’s shaking?” says Javi (Al Calderon). Gabi’s surprised to see him. “Oh, It’s been so long. It’s really you?” she asks, tenderly taking his face in her hands.

Later, we see Javi dancing around the Hernandez house, making himself very much at home. Then, he and Gabi share a big embrace while out at a Salem establishment.

Viva Vivian

Vivian returns in the form of the one and only Louise Sorel. “You just take care of my son,” she instructs her longtime servant Ivan (Ivan G’Vera). Disguised in a ski mask, Ivan sneaks into the DiMera mansion and grabs Stefan (Brandon Barash). Then he drags him outside to a car, ties him up, and dumps him in the trunk of a car. “Enjoy the ride,” says Ivan. “No, no, no,” shouts Stefano.

New Lovers

It looks like Tate (Leo Howard — watch his recent wedding video) is ready to leave Holly (Ashley Puzemis) in the past and move on with Sophia (Madelyn Kientz). The two teenagers end up alone at the penthouse. “Looks like we have the place to ourselves,” notes Tate as they sit down together on his bed.

Sophia takes the opportunity to inch closer to the guy she’s been wanting for months. “Are you sure?” Tate asks her, knowing where things are headed. “I am,” responds Sophia as the pair exchange a passionate kiss.

While Sophia and Tate are steaming things up in his bedroom, there’s suddenly a knock at the door. It’s Holly, who’s back from Paris. But what’s she doing there? If she’s back to make things right with Tate, she may have arrived a little too late.
