Another week of big returns and even bigger decisions.
Days of our Lives spoilers for the two weeks of December 2-December 13 tease the returns that keep on coming as Salem bids farewell to Doug.
There has been a rollercoaster of emotions lately in Salem between heartwarming returns and a heartbreaking farewell. While Eli (Lamon Archey), Lani (Sal Stowers), Jack (Matthew Ashford), and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) all returned for Thanksgiving, things took a devastating turn when they learned of Doug’s (the late Bill Hayes) passing.
On the other side of Salem, Rafe (Galen Gering) announced he’d be going back to his roots in the PI business at Black Patch, and his first assignment is finding the identity of the new Lady Whistleblower, who has spilled spoilers about Body & Soul to their readers. That was just one of the many ways the soap felt cursed, with others being sent poisoned cupcakes and Johnny’s (Carson Boatman) guilt over sleeping with Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) reaching a boiling point.
Soon, in Salem, the town is about to get another wave of returns as everyone gathers to say goodbye to Doug on the show’s 15,000th episode. The mission to find Clyde (James Read) will also reach a dangerous climax, and a familiar face may be about to take Rafe’s place at the Salem PD.
