Days of our Lives spoilers for Friday, July 11, prove that Sarah is still obsessed with Xander. She’s so obsessed with him that she latches onto Philip. This certainly won’t end well…
Next on Days of our Lives
Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) tried to trick Xander (Paul Telfer) into admitting he beat up Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier). Xander figured it out before the commercial break. Xander isn’t stupid. Sarah accepts that now.
But she is still hoping that Philip might be dumb enough to confess to something he is determined not to confess to. Not because he wants to protect Xander. Because he wants to protect himself. Still, since Sarah couldn’t get anywhere with her husband, she turns her attention to Philip.
In the meantime, Xander and Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) have the same conversation they’ve been having for weeks. But, maybe, this time, they might change each other’s minds.

Divide and Conquer
The police just got a major break in their attempt to figure out who really shot EJ (Dan Feuerriegel), as opposed to the person they arrested for it. Now that Jada (Elia Cantu) has seen what’s on the mysterious flash drive, she has questions for Chanel (Raven Bowens). And those questions are not about baked goods.
Chanel is used to having her mother there to get her out of tight spots, legal and otherwise, but Paulina (Jackée Harry) is busy filling Johnny (Carson Boatman) in on the latest drama. Jada always seems to be a step behind, doesn’t she?

You and Me Against the World
EJ is defending Johnny against charges of shooting him. Belle (Martha Madison) is prosecuting Johnny on charges of shooting EJ. Though, as she confessed to Marlena (Deidre Hall), they both want to prove Johnny innocent. (Which seems outside of her job description, but what do we know? We’re not legal-ologists.)
EJ understands that, however. And he uses it to his advantage.
