Days of our Lives spoilers for Thursday, January 4, 2024, show Tate going all out to protect the people he loves (and likes) by doing the very wrong thing. Tune in to see how this plays out.
Days of our Lives Spoilers Highlights
Tate (James Martin Mann) is taking the hit for feeding Holly (Ashley Puzemis) the drugs she took herself. First, he did it to protect her, then his dad (who confessed in an attempt to protect him), and now Holly again. No use getting her in trouble, right? Especially since she’s already suffering some pretty big consequences for her misguided actions.
The big question now is, how will he answer all the hard questions? How many people will suffer when his lies heat up? The cops want to know where the drugs came from, at the very least. How will Tate keep that up without having his tall tale fall apart?
A Very Sad Dad
Adding to this is Brady’s (Eric Martsolf) desire to protect his child no matter what. Unfortunately, that’s not exactly possible with Tate taking such a strong stance. Brady turns to John (Drake Hogestyn) for advice.

Sadly, John doesn’t exactly have good news for his boy. Nor does he have a silver lining. He gives Brady glum advice on how to deal with this dilemma. This whole situation is awful no matter how you look at it.
Hot…And Cool…Romances
Meanwhile, Chanel (Raven Bowens) wakes up from a New Year’s evening of love with Johnny (Carson Boatman). She’s head over heels in love with her man and can’t wait to see what 2024 brings their way.
Not so “lucky” is Paulina (Jackée Harry). More than anything, she wants her marriage with Abe (James Reynolds) back on track. Sadly, that doesn’t look like it will happen anytime soon since he’s apologizing for not being intimate with her.
