Putting All The Pieces Together
Several of the sneak peek photos focus on Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) at the DiMera mansion. Rita (Maggie Carney) isn’t here for Theo being there because she strongly grabs his arm in a couple of photos, as if to prevent him from searching the tunnels.
One photo shows Rita with her hands in the air, like she has given up. Others show Chad (Conner Floyd) in the mix, attempting to control what’s clearly a volatile situation between Theo and Rita.
Chad can be seen speaking to Theo as Rita lurks in the background. In the end, Theo gets what he wants because one photo shows him heading for the tunnels as Chad follows him.
A Birthday Celebration Takes a Turn
Meanwhile, it’s still Abe’s (James Reynolds) birthday, and Lani (Sal Stowers) is on hand to celebrate her dad. Lani shows up at Abe’s apartment with a smile and a gift.
DAYS spoilers reveal that Lani comforts her dad, and that also happens in the sneak peeks. Two of the sneak peeks have Lani holding Abe’s hands as she talks to him.
The celebration continues at the Bistro, where Abe and Lexie are joined by Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel (Raven Bowens) for dinner. A good time seems to be had by all with a cheers and conversation, but it doesn’t last long. Chad shows up, taking the group by surprise to speak with Abe.
Finding Lexie
All signs point to Chad filling Abe in on Lexie and the DiMera mansion, as other sneak peeks reveal Abe, Theo, and Lexie together.
Lexie does not look very well when Theo gets some alone time with his mother, likely while Chad gets Abe. They even share an emotional hug.
By the time Abe arrives, it appears the end is either near or has happened for Lexie. One photo shows Abe looking concerned at Lexie, who may or may not be sleeping.
It certainly seems to be the latter as Abe grabs her hand like he’s looking for a pulse and then grabs her arms as if he’s trying to wake her up. Theo comes in and desperately seems to be trying to wake his mother up, too, which only adds fuel to the fire that Lexie dies.
Fans will have to tune in, though, to find out if this really is the end for Lexie.
