Days of our Lives spoilers for Monday, May 6, bring fans closer to the moment we’ve been waiting for when Sloan tells EJ the truth about Jude — the whole truth, that is.
You’re No Son of Mine
Once Leo (Greg Rikaart) spilled to EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) about Jude being Nicole’s (Arianne Zucker) baby, the countdown began to the tot being returned to his real mother. But that was before Leo also informed EJ that he wasn’t Jude’s real father — Eric (Greg Vaughan) was. That certainly put a crimp in the family reunion.
Of course, EJ isn’t stupid. Nobody should take Leo’s word for anything, especially not someone as wily as the Salem DA. So Leo brought in reinforcements. Sloan (Jessica Sefraty) backed up Leo’s story. And gave EJ a very good reason for why he — and she – had ample motive to just carry on like all three had before. Well, after EJ pays off Leo, that is.
This Little Light of Mine
Chanel (Raven Bowens) and Johnny (Carson Boatman) got a sweet surprise when they learned she was expecting a baby. But then they got a horrifying one when Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) admitted that Chanel being exposed to radiation so early in the pregnancy could have adverse effects on the baby. And they might not know about them for years. Now, Chanel and Johnny are pondering their options.
And Paulina (Jackée Harry), as per usual, is making it all about herself. Oh, why, why, why is the universe so cruelly against her? First, a literal angel came down from heaven to miraculously cure her of her heart ailment. But what was the point if she lived only to see her daughter lost in the snow? What choice did she have but to break out of isolation and steal a snowplow and rescue the poor, fragile urchin, only to be rewarded for her good deeds with the possibility of an ill grandchild? Oh, why her? Why, why her?
More Where That Came From
And to continue Paulina’s suffering in a way no human has ever previously been forced to suffer, Everett (Blake Berris) decides to publish his expose on her law-breaking. Even if Stephanie (Abigail Klein) tries to talk him out of it. Paulina is good. Paulina is noble. Besides, Paulina is a client, and if she isn’t mayor anymore, then Stephanie might lose work down the road. She wouldn’t be the first person to bury a true political story for her own interests. In the name of journalistic integrity.
