Days of our Lives spoilers for Monday, September 9, are at cross purposes. Brady is dying to plead guilty, while the truly guilty Fiona is desperate to keep Sarah from blabbing about what she remembers.
Day of Atonement
It doesn’t matter that John (Drake Hogysten) begged Brady (Eric Martsolf) not just to assume that he’s the one who hit Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) — for his dear old dad’s sake. It doesn’t matter that John invoked Tate (Leo Howard) and Rachel (Finley Rose Slater).
Brady has decided to be a martyr and shall be a martyr! Even when his lawyer tells him he doesn’t have to. But what does Justin (Wallace Kurth) know?

Hush Little Baby
Sarah is remembering more and more about the night she got hit. This is not good news for Fiona (Serena Scott Thomas). She’s had days to listen to Xander (Paul Telfer) rant and rave about how he will never forgive the culprit — family member or not.
So she knows how her son will react. They’ve just reconnected. Fiona can’t risk Sarah’s memories ruining that! And if gentle mother-in-law persuasion doesn’t work, Fiona might need to resort to more underhanded methods. She knows quite a few.
Loose Lips
We’re curious how Eric (Greg Vaughan — who recently marked a big milestone) and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) thought they could keep Holly (Ashley Puzemis) in the dark about Eric being the one who killed her father in a drunk driving accident when other members of the family — and most of Salem — already knew.
Amazingly, Holly didn’t hear about it before Tate accidentally blurted it out. Tate laments to John about it, while Holly heads for her ex-stepfather, demanding he explain himself. She was so furious when Tate made excuses for Brady (and she was right, too) — we doubt she’ll buy Eric’s explanations, either.
