Days of our Lives spoilers for Monday, September 2, celebrates Labor Day by interrupting the goings-on in Salem, USA for the fun and games that is Body & Soul.
Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) is an actor now. We don’t blame Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Abe (James Reynolds) for wanting to put those abs front and center. Alex’s abs were made for daytime television. But a six-pack of abs does not an Emmy-award-winning actor make.
Alex needs to be able to memorize lines and then deliver them with something kind of like sincerity. And he needs to be able to walk and talk simultaneously. That is not Alex’s strength.
So he asks Stephanie (Abigail Klein) for help. And it’s not just because Alex’s marriage to Theresa (Emily O’Brien) has been annulled and Stephanie’s ex-boyfriend, Everett (Blake Berris), is now an ex-person. And they’re back to living across the hall.
Johnny (Carson Boatman) was fine with the idea of Chanel (Raven Bowens) being Alex’s leading lady. His wife is gorgeous, and the world should be able to bask in her beauty.
But that was before Johnny learned that Chanel and Alex were already acquainted. As in the biblical sense. If the Bible had a lot of threesomes. (To be fair, the Bible does have a lot of orgies, so…probably?)
Johnny now knows that Chanel and Allie (Lindsay Arnold) had a threesome with Alex. Suddenly, his wife sharing sexy scenes with those abs doesn’t seem nearly as compelling.
Meanwhile, Hattie (Deidre Hall) warns Bonnie (Judi Evans), reminding her that it takes one jailbird to know one, and Paulina (Jackée Harry) finds yet another reason to yell and shriek, this time in Abe’s direction. Body & Soul seems to be taking over DOOL, body and, well, soul…
