Days of our Lives spoilers for Monday, September 16, suggest viewers stock up on the Kleenex, as everyone in Salem is having a rough day…and needs comforting.
Xander (Paul Telfer) was gung ho about the idea of Marlena (Deidre Hall) hypnotizing Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) to help her remember who ran her down and paralyzed her. Sarah was less enthused, but she did agree to give it a try. Now, she’s disappointed that little productive information came out of their session. (I gotta wonder, would anything Sarah recalled be admissible in court?)
Couldn’t any halfway competent prosecutor point out that, as Brady’s (Eric Martsolf) stepmother, Marlena had a good motive to make sure Sarah recalled anyone but Brady?) Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) is there to pat Sarah on the head and say, “There, there. There, there.”
Meanwhile, Xander’s mom is priming to make a major confession. One that will likely require more than a pat on the head to make everything better again.

Stephanie (Abigail Klein) is also feeling much sads. About EverBob (Blake Berris)? About Chad (Billy Flynn)? Probably a combination of both. Lucky that Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) is there with his big, strong, manly…handkerchief to dry her tears and tell her to turn her frown upside down. If only Alex were good at something that could make her feel better and forget her bad day.
Chad is about to have a bad day, too. He just doesn’t know it yet. That’s because Fauxbigail (AnnaLynne MCord) is getting crankier about her plan. Sure, she promised her brother she’d see it through, but it’s getting harder and harder.
Chad really needs her to magically regain all of Abigail’s (Marci Miller) memories, like, NOW! But since Fauxbigail doesn’t have any, she is getting defensive every time he asks.
