Days of our Lives spoilers for Monday, August 3, kick off a new month with an old goal for Rafe: Bring down EJ. But before he can do that, EJ has plans of his own. For Kristen. Which also doesn’t go as intended.
Key Takeaways
- Rafe goes after EJ.
- Kristen escapes.
- Philip traps Sarah and Xander.
- Belle and Chad stay put.
Rafe Exposes EJ
Rafe (Galen Gering) wants to expose EJ for the horrible man that he is. And not at all because he lost Sami (Alison Sweeney) to EJ. Repeatedly. Rafe thinks he has all the evidence he needs. Rafe has thought that before. So while Rafe does his best imitation of Wile E. Coyote, EJ goes on with his life.
Of course, EJ isn’t having a great day, either. He thought Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) was nicely tucked away on DiMera Kidnap Island. But she and Lexie (Nikki Campbell) have a plan (which we still don’t understand). And Kristen has outsmarted her brother. Whom she once raised as her son. It’s a complicated family dynamic.
Philip Plays Matchmaker for Sarah and Xander
Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) is in a romantic mood. Maybe it’s because Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) gave him enough money to save his company. Or maybe it’s because she gave him a kiss.
Either way, Philip is feeling the love, and he wants half-brother Xander (Paul Telfer) to feel it, too. So Philip arranges for Xander and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) to be trapped together. You know how sexy it is to be stuck with a person with no food, no water, and no bathroom. They’ll have no choice but to get romantic!
Belle and Chad Do Their Sleuthing Closer to Home
Belle (Martha Madison) and Chad (Conner Floyd) told Marlena (Deidre Hall) they were going to Italy to try to unravel the mystery of Stefano (Joseph Mascolo). But then they remembered that the show doesn’t have enough money for on-location shooting. So they’re going to stay home and keep wondering about what’s going on, instead.
