Days of our Lives spoilers for Friday, October 4, feature brother versus brother as EJ, who has lost Nicole and Jude, and Stefan, who has lost Gabi, channel their frustrations into a battle against each other.
Laying Down the Law
EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) is a lawyer. He also wears very nice suits and dislikes getting his hands dirty. He has minions for that. So when EJ gets mad at Stefan (Brandon Barash), who also wears nice suits but is more prone to throwing punches, EJ refuses to sink to his level. He won’t get into fisticuffs with Stefan. Instead, he’ll sue him. That’s how gentlemen do it, you know.
In Law Outlaw
Now that we know that Clyde (James Read) is holding Mark (Jonah Robinson) and Fauxbigail’s (AnnaLynne McCord — here’s what you need to know) mother hostage somewhere, we understand a little better as to why they are pulling their con on Chad (Billy Flynn) — though it does seem like a really convoluted way to get the DiMera fortune.
Nonetheless, Mark needs an update from his sister about how her masquerade is going. Is Chad ready to remarry her yet? Meanwhile, Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) is wondering the same thing. If Chad is convinced his mystery blonde is Abigail, shouldn’t he let Thomas (Christopher Cary) and Charlotte know their Mommy is still alive? And is the fact that he keeps putting it off proof of his not being sure? Or is it because Fauxbigail is willing to trick and manipulate Chad, but she draws the line at breaking the kids’ hearts?

Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word
Rafe (Galen Gering) slept through Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) finding out about Stefan’s affair with Ava (Tamara Braun), dumping him, and having sex with EJ in revenge. He only woke up to learn that his little sister was about to end yet another marriage. Hey, that’s rough, sis, sorry about that, Rafe says. But, you know, the guy did get you out of prison. Can’t you cut him a little slack?
