John’s death has shaken Salem like never before on Days of our Lives. Here are three major moments to watch out for this week.
Funeral for a Hero
The week will kick off with Salem preparing to say goodbye to John Black (the late Drake Hogestyn). Beloved Salemites will gather for the funeral, comforting a grieving Marlena (Deidre Hall). She’ll be joined by Eric (Greg Vaughan), Will (Chandler Massey), Paul (Christopher Sean), Brady (Eric Martsolf), and so many more to remember the hero John was.

Another Salem Secret
At the same time as the funeral, Ari (Marissa Reyes) will share a secret with Tate (Leo Howard). It’s hard to tell exactly what secret she’s about to reveal, considering she’s holding a few. Will she finally tell someone about whatever it is that’s keeping her from her high school graduation back in Arizona? Or will she let it slip that she slept with? Doug III (Peyton Meyer), which will undoubtedly put Tate between a rock and a hard place when it comes to Holly (Ashley Puzemis).

Defying Odds…Now Defying Doctors
Bo (Peter Reckell) defied the odds after getting sepsis while in his coma, and woke up after receiving a life-saving dose of Dr. Russell’s miracle drug. But now that he’s awake and reunited with his family, mid-week, he’s going to defy doctor’s orders. Will this cause a setback for the Salemites, or will Hope (Kristian Alfonso) get him in line? Odds are it’s the latter, considering Hope will reunite with Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) and Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) come Thursday, which will presumably be when Hope notes that she can’t believe Bo Brady is about to walk through the Horton House door.
