Days of our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, May 7 promise two major developments, as EJ and Kayla plot (though not together), and Alex and Xander plan (together).

Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) is determined to save her brother Bo’s (Peter Reckell) life. Whether or not the doctor developing the drug agrees (he does not). Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Shawn (Brandon Beemer) are happy to break in and rob the lab.
Kayla isn’t quite ready to go there yet. But she does have a different idea. One that would save Bo and keep the hospital from losing their researcher to Big Pharma, which could develop the drug faster, get it on the market quicker, and save more lives. But then they’d get the profits, too. And Salem University Hospital can’t afford to let a penny slip away now. Meanwhile, a sad Shawn reconnects with Belle (Martha Madison).

Different Strokes
Does Shawn know that Belle has moved on…all the way into saying “I love you” to EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) of all people? EJ may be freshly out of a coma, but he’s plotting too. And his plot involves the very same doctor whom Kayla is trying to keep at the hospital…and the one developing the drug which could save Bo.
We feel there’s a connection here, somewhere. Does EJ think he can use the doctor against Kayla…or for Belle?
Look What I Found
Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) is very strongly Team Xander (Paul Telfer). Which is why he comes to him with an idea… and not to Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier). But Philip is busy, anyhow. He’s apologizing to Stephanie (Abigail Klein). She deserves it, and it was a long time coming.
Still, there has to be a reason why Philip is suddenly so amenable. Might it have something to do with Stephanie’s connection to Alex…and what Alex is, at that very moment, telling Xander?
