Days of our Lives spoilers for Friday, July 25, end the week with danger for Marlena. Her children and friends have been worried about her, and they aren’t happy to be right.
Marlena’s Health Takes a Dangerous Turn
Belle (Martha Madison) and Brady (Eric Martsolf) kept telling Marlena (Deidre Hall, who actually turned down the role of Marlena) that she needs to take care of herself following John’s (Drake Hogsten) death.
Marlena kept ignoring them. She isn’t sleeping well, she isn’t eating right, and she’s stressing over Johnny’s (Carson Boatman) arrest, among other things. You can’t keep living like that. Something’s got to give. And, in this case, it’s Marlena’s health.

Susan’s Cosmic Calm Amid Johnny’s Chaos
Johnny has a lot of support in the battle to prove his innocence. There’s Chanel (Ravin Bowens), there’s Paulina (Jackée Harry—she has a big new show coming), and Abe (James Rynolds). There is his aunt Belle, the prosecutor, his dad EJ (Dan Feuerriegel), the defense attorney…and the victim.
And there’s his grandma, Susan (Stacy Haiduk). She’s in touch with the universe (if not always with her sanity). And the universe is telling her everything will be well. So…nothing to worry about, John-John?
Brady’s Shoulder Sparks New Romance
Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) is in the middle of a custody battle for Victoria. Brady knows what that’s like. He and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk—again!) have been battling over Rachel (Alice Halsey) since they first got her back. So he lends Sarah a sympathetic ear, a shoulder to cry on… and that dazzling smile. Is there something romantic brewing here? Signs certainly point to yes!
Doug’s Rocky Goodbye Tour Hits a Snag
Doug (Peyton Meyer) continues his goodbye tour of Salem. Holly (Ashley Puzemis) blew him off, and Ari (Marissa Reyes) slapped him. Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) looks poised to do both. But will he be able to charm her one last time?
Gabi and Gwen’s Shared Hatred Deepens
Gabi (Cherie Jimenez, who saw a twist recently) and Gwen (Emily O’Brien) didn’t like each other before. They don’t like each other now. But they may have something in common. Which means the hate may run even deeper.
