Marlena (Deidre Hall) urged Paul (Sean Christopher) and Andrew (Colton Little) not to put aside their wedding plans. John (Drake Hogestyn) would have wanted his son to marry the love of his life. So they do!
It’s a happy occasion. Except that Shane (Charles Shaughnessy) isn’t only focused on his son’s big day. He’s worried about his grandson, Tate (Leo Howard). Now that Sophia (Rachel Boyd) has gone into (false) labor, she’s still determined to give her child up for adoption.
But is Tate still equally committed? And if he does decide he wants to be a father, how will that affect his getting back together with Holly (Ashley Puzemis)? After all, let’s not forget, she’s the most important person in this scenario.
Aaron (Louis Tomeo), for instance, was most worried about how she was handling Tate and Sophia having a baby. Why shouldn’t Tate put her first, too?

I’ve Got a Secret
Rachel (Alice Halsey) told Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) that she saw Johnny (Carson Boatman) pointing a gun at EJ (Dan Feuerriegel). Kristen told EJ. And Brady (Eric Martsolf). So it’s not exactly a secret anymore.
Time to add one more person to that list! Rachel clues in her Grandma Marlena. By this time next week, it feels like the only ones who won’t know about it are Jada (Elia Cantu) and Rafe (Galen Gering)!

Hurricane Sami
Belle (Martha Madison) confided in Carrie (Christie Clark) that she’s in love with EJ. At which point Carrie shared some of her experiences of being in conflict with her sister, Sami (Alison Sweeney). It’s not fun. And sometimes it becomes actually life-threatening. Now that Belle has told EJ she loves him, things are about to become much worse.
