Days of our Lives spoilers for Tuesday, July 9 find Nicole digging up the one thing that will keep Eric in Salem — their son, Jude.
Nicole (Arianne Zucker) finally knows the truth: Yes, Jude is her son, but he’s not EJ’s – he’s Eric’s (Greg Vaughan). Nicole’s miracle baby isn’t just a miracle because he was born; he isn’t just a miracle because he was returned, but he’s a miracle because he’s the biological child of the man Nicole actually loves, instead of the one she married.
And now that Nicole knows, she can’t be the only one. She goes running over to Eric’s. How’s that for a reason to stay in town?
But the Jude news doesn’t just affect Nicole and Eric. Stefan (Brandon Barash) is furious that his newly released from jail wife spilled the beans to Nicole. Now, what is Stefan going to hold over his brother’s head indefinitely?
Meanwhile, EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) has to confess what he did to Holly (Ashley Puzemis). This will make her feel more self-righteous about all the things she’s done wrong, won’t it? Whenever Holly is called out on something moving forward, she will point the finger at her stepfather and look innocent.
This means that Holly is going to feel no guilt about sneaking around to see Tate (Leo Howard). Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Theresa (Emily O’Brien) are still against it, but Tate doesn’t care. He’s in the right.
Tate lets Aaron (Louis Tomeo) in on his brilliant plan to spend the summer hanging out with Holly while his parents think he is working hard and being a good boy. Sure, it backfired before. But it will totes go right this time. Tate is so much smarter now.
