Days of our Lives spoilers for Thursday, July 25, explore Xander and Alex’s true feelings about the paternity switch Theresa pulled on both of them.
Xander (Paul Telfer) just discovered he’s the true heir to the Kiriakis fortune. (Though why everyone automatically believed his mother, who waltzed in and, without a shred of proof, announced that the letter to Victor [John Aniston] wasn’t from Angelica but, in fact, from her, and everyone just shrugged and said, “Guess the total stranger, possibly drunk lady is telling the truth.” Theresa [Emily O’Brien] used to be a much cooler liar. Looks like pretend love really has changed her.)
So, while Xander demands Theresa explain herself, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) picks up the other half of their ruined double wedding by listening to Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) whine about how he’s lost the father he never actually had. And about how it was his now wife who did it all. But all is not doom and gloom for Theresa, as Brady (Eric Martsolf) now realizes the mother of his child might soon be single again. So what was all that maudlin drinking for?
Nicole (Arianne Zucker) has made it clear that, no matter what might happen with her and Eric (Greg Vaughan) in the future, EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) is forever a part of her past. Clearly, neither guy got the memo, so they kept on fighting over her.
In the meantime, Nicole manages to think for herself and decides she wants to leave town with Eric — which means telling Holly (Ashley Puzemis) that they’re moving. Her daughter certainly reacts badly…considering the guy she’s hot for isn’t even in town at the moment. Right? Right, Holly? So, come on, pack your bags — they’re off on a new adventure!
