Yes, Sir, That’s My Boy

Justin (Wally Kurth) doesn’t care that Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) is strutting around town, crowing about how he’s Victor’s (John Aniston) son and he’s super rich and important now, and everyone should give him whatever he wants.

So, you know, the same way he acted when he was Justin’s son. Alex is getting married to Theresa (Emily O’Brien) in a double wedding with Xander (Paul Telfer) and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey). Which means he’s desperately in need of some fatherly advice. (The most obvious of which would be: Stay away from Theresa.)

Since Victor isn’t around, alas, Alex will have to make due with Justin. You know, the dad who raised him, loved him, put up with him, and still cares about him. All things Victor didn’t do. Sure, we know he isn’t really Alex’s dead. But Alex thinks his father knew he had a son and still ignored Alex for the duration of his life. And that’s the guy he’s proud to have come from. Alex is dumb.

Second Best

We know that Xander is actually Victor’s long-lost son and heir. (Whom Victor also ignored for the duration of Xander’s life. What a guy!) But as far as Xander is concerned, his father died, and his mother never loved him, and he’s always had a tough time making friends. This is why Jack (Matthew Ashford) means so much to Xander.

While Alex rejects a man who wants to be his father, Xander says thank you to a man who is at least willing to be his friend. But will all this goodwill be forgotten once the major secret hanging between these two couples explodes…at the worst possible moment?
