Days of our Lives Spoilers July 16: Payback For Baby Jude Plot

Days of our Lives spoilers for Tuesday, July 16, focus on those who participated in the Baby Jude lie-fest. Everyone who participated will pay!

Ex-Father

EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) knew that Eric (Greg Vaughan) was Jude’s biological father from the moment the baby was placed back into Nicole’s (Arianne Zucker) arms — and, well, honestly, before that. But that was the time that actually counted. Nonetheless, he kept the truth to himself. Not out of love for little Jude — though he didn’t mind the tyke; EJ’s on-again/off-again relationship with Sami (Alison Sweeney) had already taught him the stepfather ropes, and he was genuinely fond of Holly (Ashley Puzemis).

But because EJ knew that if Nicole were to find out her miracle baby was fathered by her ex, she’d be at Eric’s so fast, little Jude wouldn’t have time to soil a diaper. So EJ kept mum. Until Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) outed him as publicly as possible. Nicole let EJ have it. But she’s an amateur. Marlena (Deidre Hall), on the other hand, is a professional at making people feel bad about themselves. And she’s next up to tell EJ how awful he is.

Unsupporting Actor

Do you know who else knew about Jude’s paternity? Leo (Greg Rikaart). Obviously, Marlena isn’t going to yell at Leo. She seems to like the slimy creep for some reason. Also, he’s her patient, so there is probably some law against it.

But Nicole isn’t bound by silly laws and ethics. This means she can excoriate Leo as much and as often as she likes — and he deserves. Let’s see him old movie reference his way out of that one! Leo is going to need more than one therapy session from Marlena before he recovers from that one. Maybe he can get a jail cell next to deep, old mom.
