Days of our Lives spoilers for Monday, July 15, are soapier than ever as Abe and Kate prepare to enter the soap opera business. But they need a little help from a surprising person first.
Abe’s (James Reynolds) favorite soap opera has been canceled. And he’s devastated. We can all surely relate. Kate (Lauren Koslow) gave him an idea: Why don’t they buy the rights and produce it themselves? We can all surely…not relate to that part, but this is Salem. We can’t relate to a lot of things in Salem. So, let’s add this to the list.
Abe shared his idea with Paulina (Jackée Harry). And she is totally supportive. Why shouldn’t she be? After all, Abe was Mayor, and Paulina took over that job for him. Maybe she wants this one, too.
Remember when Kate suggested she and Abe buy the rights and produce Body and Soul themselves? It was right there, in the above paragraph. Do you know what you need to buy the rights to Body and Soul and produce it yourself? Money. You need money.
Kate doesn’t have that. You know who does? Her ex-stepson, Chad (Billy Flynn). Chad loves Kate. He’d do anything to help her. So why not loan her a few million dollars? No, not loan. It’s an investment, honey.
While Kate and Abe prepare to become the next Irna Phillips, Stephanie (Abigail Klein) lives in her own soap opera. The man she may love may be another man. Everett (Blake Berris) is still stuck in his Bobby persona, and Bobby isn’t into Stephanie. He’d rather taunt Jada (Elia Cantu — who we interviewed).
Stephanie asked Marlena (Deidre Hall) about integrating the personalities, but she needs Bobby’s buy-in for that. Bobby says…nah.
