Abe (James Reynolds) and Paulina (Jackée Harry) have been praying so hard for Theo’s (Tyler Joseph Andrews) recovery — presumably off-screen. Well, they got their wish! Theo is awake and no worse for wear.
In fact, Theo is eager to return to work as CEO of DiMera. We know that Abe was also praying that the blow to the head would have knocked some sense into Theo about that. Is he going to wish his son had stayed in his nice, safe coma?
Look Who’s Here!
Who should pop up at the end of Leo (Greg Rikaart) and Javi’s (Al Calderon) wedding but Dimitri (Peter Porte), the man who broke both Gwen’s (Emily O’Brien) and Leo’s hearts. (Maybe he thought he wouldn’t be recognized with his new, poofier hair?)
Gwen has never been one to hold back her feelings. And she doesn’t hold back with Dimitri. He is scum. He was scum, and he always will be scum. But, just in case he’s forgotten, she’s here to remind him again.
Folds Like a Card Table
And while Gwen punches up and stands tall, Leo folds like an emotionally stunted card table. He goes running to Marlena (Deidre Hall), as usual. We’re sure she’ll tell him the usual: He’s strong, he’s smart, he can handle this, he’s a big boy!
We wonder, though, just how many times you can tell a person this before even you realize that he’s never going to stand on his own two feet, and he has no intention of trying.
