Next on DAYS
Last week, Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) and Jack (Matthew Ashford) were suing Chad (Billy Flynn) for custody of Thomas (Cary Christopher) and Charlotte.
This week, with the issue settled (for now), Jennifer is all sweetness and light toward Chad, happy to help him keep his promise to stay away from Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) forever. Even if he feels sad about Stefano’s (the late Joseph Mascolo) death. Even if he just wants to say hello. Never!
My Beloved Incubator
As soon as Chanel (Raven Bowens) decided she wanted Trey and no other baby would do, she saw Sophia (Rachel Boyd) as merely an obstacle to overcome on the way to acquiring the child she felt she deserved. When Sophia had a complete breakdown, Chanel was sympathetic…now hand over that tot, pronto!
Seeing as how Chanel is now pregnant, maybe she’s developed some empathy for her son’s biological mother. In any case, she visits Sophia. Maybe just to make sure she still isn’t a threat to Chanel keeping the life she wants.
Watch Out
Holly (Ashley Puzemis) wants Ari (Marissa Reyes) to rush a sorority with her. Ari is reluctant, and Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) agrees. Her own youth was less than delightful, what with the teenage pregnancy, the abusive husband, and the jail stint.
Gabi wants Ari to do better. And rushing a sorority doesn’t sound like the path to that.
Reading Ready
Nobody really knows what either Titan or DiMera Enterprises actually produces. All we know for now is that they seem to be putting all their eggs in the book publishing basket. Which is…questionable, at best.
Johnny (Carson Boatman) told Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) they should publish Bonnie’s (Judi Evans) book. Johnny hasn’t read it, but he’s sure it will be a big success. Okay, Theo said, as long as the editors agree. But they basically have a deal. Johnny can run along and tell Bonnie. That is exactly how publishing works.
