The Days of our Lives spoilers for Tuesday, January 21, figure EJ might as well make the best of his Arnold and Rafe dilemma by using the lookalike to get what he wants. And if Jada and Paulina suffer for it, that’s just a bonus!

Next on Days of our Lives

EJ didn’t want to end up with tied-up Rafe (Galen Gering) in his secret tunnel room (that pretty much everybody in Salem has been trapped in at one point or another, so how is it still a secret?). But since he happens to already be there—against EJ’s will, he might add—and since Arnold (also Galen Gering) has already introduced himself to a vaguely suspicious but still trusting Jada (Elia Cantu), why not take advantage of seeing double?

Jada helped get EJ fired. EJ didn’t like that. Paulina (Jackée Harry) was the one who wanted it most, though. If only having his own personal Rafe could somehow make Paulina and Jada miserable.

Secret Liars, Secret Lives

Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) has decided that the best way to encourage Xander (Paul Telfer) to stick to the straight, narrow, and non-criminal is to tell a big, whopping lie herself. Sarah knows that Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) forged the codicil, which claimed that Victor (John Aniston) wanted his legitimate son to run Titan. But she decided to keep it to herself since she doesn’t want Xander to angrily plot revenge against Philip.

Wow, relationships really ARE built on trust! Sarah must lie to Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) to keep her secret. Meanwhile, Xander makes nice with Philip even if it kills them both.

Pretend Play

Bonnie (Judi Evans) is upset about something yet again. Maybe it’s because her role on Body & Soul is too big. Maybe it’s because her role on Body & Soul is too small. Maybe it’s because Hattie (Deidre Hall) is being rehired or because she’s still fired.

It’s very hard to keep track of what’s upsetting Bonnie this time. We suspect Justin (Wally Kurth) and Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) have stopped trying to. They just pat her on the head and say, “There, there. There, there,” no matter what.
