Days of our Lives spoilers for Tuesday, January 14, find EJ tap-dancing as fast as he can to keep Jada from figuring out she’s sleeping with the enemy…or, at the very least, not her fiance.

EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) didn’t like the idea of Arnold passing himself off as Rafe (Galen Gering). But not enough to keep Arnold from knocking Rafe out, locking him up in the DiMera tunnels, or passing himself off as Rafe to Rafe’s fiancee. Remember how angry EJ was about Arnold sleeping with Sami (Alison Sweeney) back in the day?
EJ called it what it was, rape. And EJ is right. (EJ also blackmailed Sami into sleeping with him to save Lucas’ [Bryan Dattilo] life one time, which is how Johnny [Carson Boatman] came into being, so he both knows of what he speaks…and maybe shouldn’t speak so high and mightily about it.) EJ doesn’t necessarily want Jada (Elia Cantu) to suffer Sami’s fat. But telling her the truth to prevent is really beyond the pale.

Cop Rock
With Jada having her hands full—even if she doesn’t know how full yet—it’s a good thing Shawn (Brandon Beemer) is getting some help on the Salem Police Force. JJ (Casey Moss) is picking up his cop badge and is back in the protecting and serving business. Is JJ staying in town because he wants to keep criminals from harassing the good people of Salem? Or are his reasons more personal? Do they start with G and end with I and have an AB in the middle? That’s certainly what Javi (Al Calderon) is teasing Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) about.

Man of War
It’s not that Javi hasn’t made some bad decisions of his own. We could all see that Kerry was the spoilers-stealer from the moment he slept with Leo (Greg Rikaart). Then suddenly, details from his laptop were publicly available, but Leo remains densely oblivious. Instead, he goes to Abe (James Reynolds) for a favor, which will likely make the situation even worse.
