For the week of February 12 – February 16 on Days of our Lives, spoilers tease a tragic house fire, characters celebrating Valentine’s Day, and so much more. This will be a week you won’t want to miss!
Detective Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) is determined to bring down Clyde Weston’s (James Read) “alleged” drug ring. Next week, she deals with a lot including her injured partner. Someone shot Harris (Steve Burton) and now she’s tracking down the shooter. After Wendy (Victoria Grace) cops to Ava (Tamara Braun) acting suspiciously, Jada questions both Ava and Stefan (Brandon Barash) about what happened to Harris.
Jada’s about to experience personal drama in addition to her professional drama. Don’t look now, but Stephanie (Abigail Klein) wants a double date with her friend, so she invites Jada and Rafe (Galen Gering) to have dinner with her and Everett (Blake Berris). Yes, a dinner where Jada and Everett will spot each other and the most awkward of awkward moments should ensue. Is this finally happening? If Jada and Everett actually see each other, how is she going to react to seeing her cheating ex-husband?
It’s Valentine’s Day in Salem and people are celebrating in their own ways. There’s that romantic geocaching scavenger hunt Tripp (Lucas Adams) and Wendy put together to entertain the town’s residents. Elsewhere, John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) take the time for a picnic. And Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Steve (Stephen Nichols) reminisce on their anniversary.
Meanwhile, Nicole (Arianne Zucker, who is out at DAYS) is busy appreciating her husband. Apparently, she’s overwhelmed at the lengths EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) has gone through for Holly (Ashley Puzemis). Of course, EJ set Nicole’s daughter up at that facility in Italy. The District Attorney also raced back to Salem to do whatever it takes to help rid Salem of all those tainted drugs. In his opinion, he’ll bring down Clyde’s operation even if it takes arresting his half-brother Stefan. Oh the sacrifices EJ might have to make in the name of justice.
At the start of the week, Paulina (Jackée Harry) laments messing up Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel’s (Raven Bowens) Valentine’s Wedding Day. Later, the adorable couple have a surprise for Chanel’s mom.
Forget about the love and hearts of the holiday. With Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) it’s all about loud, harsh words and actions directed at each other. Too bad this is all going down during one of Brady’s supervised visits with Rachel (Finley Rose Slater).
Thoughts, prayers, and a million of Alice’s “made with love” donuts are needed because, get this. The Horton house catches fire! Hopefully, there are no casualties or injuries. Also, the damage done to this legendary house better be minimal. But after the dust and the ashes settle, look for Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) to take Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes), Doug (Bill Hayes), Chad (Billy Flynn), and the kids in at her mansion. What more can happen to Thomas (Cary Christopher) and Charlotte (Autumn Gendron)?
