Former Soap Star Shares Tale of Sexual Extortion!

Former Days of our Lives (DAYS) star Ximena Duque (Bianca) is the latest celebrity to come forward with a harrowing tale of sexual extortion from a powerful executive.

According to a report from People, The Colombian soap star recounts in detail the disturbing incident that took place 14 years ago.

When Duque was starting out, she was approached by someone who promised to give her roles and such in return for certain favors. Duque was shocked and disturbed.

“After I signed, he calls me into his office one day and says: ‘I have the perfect plan for you. I’m going to explain to you how this profession works. There is the long way and there is the short way. The short way is very simple, you and I go out with a couple of executives from different companies — and you can have your leading role tomorrow. Or there is the long way, which will take a long time and who knows when you will get your leading role, or when you will be cast in a soap opera, but you decide.’”

It was more than the actress could handle. She took matters into her hands and confronted the executive and refused his offer.

‘It doesn’t matter how long it takes me, whether it’s 10 years or 20, I choose the long way. And it has been a long way because I still haven’t had a leading role.”

Fortunately, the actress moved beyond that experience. Nowadsays, she enjoys a fulfilling career as an international actress. Additionally, Duque is married and expects her second baby by early 2018. She has a son, Christian Carabias Duque, who was born in 2004.
