Days of our Lives spoilers for Friday, April 26, give Eric the idea that he finally knows what’s going on with his wife — and her money. But, as is usual for Eric, he has no idea.
We don’t blame Eric (Greg Vaughan) for his confusion. When your wife lies about money, and you find receipts for extended stays at a local hotel, you jump to some conclusions. That pretty much fall apart when you barge into the room in question…and find Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart).
Not only is Leo not Sloan’s (Jessica Serfaty, who pulled this prank) type, but Sloan isn’t Leo’s type, either. Will Eric put the pieces together and track them all the way back to his baby boy? Or will Leo come up with a story so wild Eric won’t know what to think?
EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) wasn’t exactly on the up and up when prosecuting his brother, Stefan (Brandon Barash). Even though we know he’d have preferred his rival to be sent to prison for a good long while, to an outsider, it might look like EJ pulled strings to get Stefan off the hook.
And Mayor Paulina (Jackée Harry) is incensed. She just cannot imagine anyone using family connections to do an end-run around proper civic and judicial procedures. She will not stand for such overreach in her administration!
Perhaps if Nicole (Arianne Zucker, who seemed snubbed) gets the reporting job she asks Chad (Billy Flynn) for, she can write an expose on her husband. Or maybe on Sloan.
Nicole is so well-connected that Chad should hire her so that he knows what’s going on in town. And if Eric gets the photography job he applied for, well, they can be in each other’s orbit all the time. Which, surely, would upset both of them…not at all.
