Days of our Lives spoilers for Tuesday, December 3, direct all of Salem to Doug’s memorial services, as old rivalries are rekindled, and maybe some old love affairs, too.
Time To Say Good-Bye
All of Salem grew to love Doug (Bill Hayes)…eventually. (You know, once he got out of prison and stopped fortune-hunting and lying and conning.) He became an honorary Horton, first by marrying Addie (who gave birth to his only daughter, Hope [Kristian Alfonso]), then when he wed Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) for the first time. And the next time.
We’ve got Hortons galore, as well as Bradys and DiMeras and Johnsons and the Price/Carver and Hernandez clans, at his celebration of life.

Never Forgive, Never Forget
Sarah’s (Linsey Godfrey) biological father is a man named Neil (Joe Gallison). Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) never had an affair with him. There were some sperm shenanigans at the doctor’s office. Mickey raised and loved Sarah like his own. Neil, however, fell in love with Maggie. That didn’t go anywhere.
Neil has another daughter, Noelle (the one Rex [Kyle Lowder] had an affair with while he and Sarah were engaged). Noelle’s mother was Liz (Gloria Loring). She was born while Neil was married to Marie (Maree Cheatham). Neil and Liz did have an affair. So you can see why the two women are now less than pleased to run into each other again.
Pop Up Shop
Belle (Martha Madison) came to Salem without her husband, Shawn (Brandon Beemer), to visit her mom. But now that Doug’s funeral is at hand, Shawn is also in town to surprise his wife.
Meanwhile, all of Salem may get the surprise of their lives when the long-buried time capsule found after the Horton house fire is finally opened. Will there be secrets to put all the previous affairs and lies to shame?
