Days of our Lives Spoilers December 17: Alex is Stuck Between Johnny and Stephanie

Days of our Lives spoilers for Tuesday, December 17, force Alex to live with the consequences of Johnny’s lies about him and Joy, while Stephanie continues to hide how she feels about Alex — and Johnny’s lie.

Oh, What a Tangled Web We Weave

Does Johnny (Carson Boatman) have any shame? No. The answer is no, he does not. There is nothing Johnny wouldn’t do to cover up his own mistakes…by making more mistakes and then getting other people to pay for them. Johnny thought he saw Chanel (Raven Bowens) sleeping with Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) — she wasn’t. It was Stephanie (Abigail Klein) — so Johnny thought he was perfectly justified in sleeping with Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins).

Except, oops, Chanel didn’t. And, double oops, Joy blabbed to Alex. So Alex went to yell at Johnny about it. Chanel overheard and wanted to know what was happening, and Johnny ‘fessed up…by saying Alex slept with Joy.

Alex took the blame for Chanel’s sake. And Johnny is totes sorry, OK? But no harm, dude, right? Will you keep lying to me? Even if it upsets Stephanie? Who refuses to admit she’s upset. Is anyone in this quagmire ever going to tell the truth?

Yours, Mine, and Ours

Xander (Paul Telfer) and Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) are both convinced they’re the rightful heir to Titan. Of course, in Xander’s case, he is; in Philip’s case, he knows he forged the document naming him heir.

So they are not the same. But their lawyers don’t know that. Belle (Martha Madison) is representing Phillip now, and ever since Brady (Eric Martsolf) told her about the dirty tricks Xander pulled against both Brady and Philip, she’s been itching to introduce that to help support Philip’s case. But Brady won’t testify in favor of the guy who tried to frame him for murder, so Belle is forced to go to Sarah (Linsey Godfrey). Because she’s more likely to testify against her husband?
