DAYS spoilers are promising a rollicking adventure in Greece for Brady and Alex…and maybe Theresa, too. They’re traveling to find out why Victor was there instead of home, and what that has to do with his will SNAFU. But will they end up unearthing much, much more than they were bargaining for? Will the whole family end up sorry they ever booked those plane tickets?
Why did Victor (John Aniston) destroy his latest will? Could it be because his empire was in financial trouble, and he didn’t want to saddle Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) with what would turn out to be no profit, only debt? Wouldn’t it be just like Victor to be thinking three steps ahead?
He wanted to protect his beloved Maggie. So, he engineered it to make his very much not beloved Vivian (Louise Sorel) take the fall? Justin (Wally Kurth) is working so hard to prove Vivian has no right to his uncle’s estate when it could be that’s what Victor intended all along!
And why was supposed billionaire Victor suddenly broke? Well, it’s a pretty bad economy. But the economy has never affected his fortunes before. Even if Xander (Paul Telfer) and Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) and especially Maggie screwed up badly, that’s still not enough to go bankrupt.
But you know what is enough to go bankrupt? If Victor has a whole other family in Greece.
Hear us out, hear us out…Victor came to Salem in the early 1980s. He was a middle-aged man. Handsome, rich, and eager for an heir. He had never been married. That’s kind of suspicious, isn’t it? Victor is a self-made man. Before he was rich, he was poor.
What if, back in his hungry days, Victor married a local girl? Had some kids. (Daughters, obviously, he wouldn’t have turned his back on a son.) He dumped them when his life moved on, but he kept supporting them. If Victor died with money, they’d have wanted a share, and the truth would have come out. But no money, no reason to come out of the woodwork. And Victor’s secret remains safe. Think this wild speculation could really come true? Let us know in the comments section.
