Could something happen between Sloan Petersen and EJ?
DAYS spoilers haven’t flat-out gone and said so, but we know there is something sparking between EJ and Sloan. They have so much in common, after all. Sloan wants Eric. EJ wants Nicole. And they both know that, if they had a reason to, Eric and Nicole would dump their current partners and reunite.
A good reason like, you know, a miracle baby. Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) tried to tell EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) that he wasn’t the father. She may have begged off, but we were turned on…by the possibility of EJ and Sloan joining forces.
They’ve talked before. They’ve tangled before. But they’ve never connected before. Not like they did when Sloan hemmed and hawed about Nicole’s (Arianne Zucker) child. We saw potential. For good. For bad. For fun.
Sloan and EJ, for reasons of their own, seem to want Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole, respectively. And they both understand that a baby will tie those two together forever. So even if Sloan does come clean, EJ will have all sorts of reasons for keeping her quiet.
Not the way he just tried to keep Ava (Tamra Braun) quiet. His favorite hit woman is incapacitated, after all. But he can offer Sloan…something. Money is always good. A cushy job as in-house counsel for DiMera. Keeping Nicole busy so Eric can’t loiter around and make puppy eyes at her. These are all things Sloan wants.
But what about the things Sloan wants? Sloan loves. She’s even admitted as much. And Eric is never going to love her the way she deserves. EJ, on the other hand, knows how to be romantic. And smooth. And sincere. He’s wasting it on Nicole, who doesn’t even appreciate it. Sloan would appreciate the money, the man…and the fact that he enjoys a good revenge plot as much as she does.
