Use Alex how, exactly, you may be asking. By turning Xander into a green-eyed monster and showing him what he’s missing! Xander may claim he’s all about Sarah (Linsey Godfrey), but his passion for Gwen is unparalleled. He may not see it now, but he will when he thinks Gwen is moving on with someone else.
DAYS: Flaunting The Flirting
We can see it now. Gwen cozies up to Alex and flaunts her new little romance all over town. A coffee in the square, some chowder at the pub, a few drinks at the bar, and maybe even a pop-in or two at the office. All while holding Alex’s hand, leaning her head on his shoulder, and making it very much seem like she’s moving on. And, yes, Xander will notice.

Oh boy, will he notice! It will feel like he sees Gwen with her new man everywhere he goes. It will haunt his every waking moment. It’ll get even worse if Alex decides to throw his time at Titan away and work with Gwen at The Spectator. Can you imagine! Xander will go mad with envy.
