Long ago, DAYS spoilers teased that the first time Xander dumped Gwen, it was because he learned she’d kept Sarah being trapped on DiMera island a secret. Gwen knew that Sarah wasn’t with Rex, and she knew that Sarah had no memory of her love for Xander. But what if that’s small-time compared to something else she may be hiding?

When Xander (Paul Telfer) found out, he was furious. He dumped Gwen (Emily O’Brien) at the altar and went running back to Sarah (Linsey Godfrey). Sure, they eventually broke up. And Xander ended up back with Gwen. Again. But will Gwen be able to hold onto her man once yet another one of her secrets comes out?

Sarah was gone from Salem for a long time. Long enough to have a baby. A baby that, in her amnesiac state, she wouldn’t remember having. A baby that was not only her’s, but also Xander’s.
Xander would love to have a child. He was a loving fake father to Sarah’s fake daughter, Mickey. He grew up feeling unloved and unwanted. If Xander had a child, he would make sure his child never felt that way. And he would want to be with his child’s mother. If only because he didn’t have that kind of family growing up. And, oh, yeah, also because he’s still in love with Sarah.

Gwen knows all this. She knows how much Xander wants to have a child. She knows how much Xander loves Sarah. She knows he’s just with her due to a combination of spite and least resistance. She can’t stop whining about it to Leo (Greg Rikaart).
Oh, and Gwen also knows about Sarah’s baby. Yeah, she didn’t just keep quiet about Sarah being an amnesiac hostage, she also kept quiet about Sarah being an amnesiac hostage mom.
