DAYS Spoilers Weekly Video Preview: Kate and Kayla Die; Is Marlena Next?

It’s a somber week in Salem. Two of the three women who survived Orpheus’s initial attempt at trying to kill them aren’t so lucky when that toxic virus returns. Shockingly, both Kate Roberts Brady and Kayla Brady Johnson die.

Here’s your Days of our Lives spoilers video preview for the week of January 9 – January 13, 2023. It’s filled with heartache and tears as two men say goodbye to the women they love.

Kate Roberts Brady Flatlines

Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) phones his incarcerated brother, Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo), with some earth-shattering news about Kate (Lauren Koslow). “It’s mom. She’s gone,” delivers Rex softly. A look of despair comes over Lucas’s face.

Elsewhere, Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) embrace one another, too, likely having learned of their beloved grandmother’s passing. Then Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) sobs over Kate’s hospital bed. “I will miss you so much,” he cries, giving his wife one final embrace.

DAYS Spoilers: Kayla Brady Johnson Passes Away

Things are just as dire in Kayla’s (Mary Beth Evans) hospital room. Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) keeps vigil over his fading wife’s bedside and strokes her cheek. “I will love you forever, Sweetness,” he says, fighting back the tears. Kayla musters up her strength and mutters back, “I love you forever.” Moments later, Steve is sobbing and resting his head on Kayla’s chest.

Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) apparently learns of Kayla’s fate, too, and is absolutely devastated. She sobs alone in the Johnson home, trying to come to terms with losing her mother.

DOOL Spoilers: What About Marlena Evans Black?

Meanwhile, the last of the three women poisoned by Orpheus (George DelHoyo), Marlena (Deidre Hall), cries in John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) arms. “Nooo,” she wails, obviously knowing it’s only a matter of time before she slips away, too. See the heartbreak for yourself below.
