DAYS Spoilers Weekly Video Preview: A Crash and A Killer Confrontation

Abigail Deveraux DiMera’s murder continues to wreak havoc and DAYS spoilers tease that’s especially true for her widower, Chad DiMera, and her mother, Jennifer Rose Horton Deveraux. The pair both end up in peril with a high-on-drugs Jennifer spiraling out of control in her car while Chad violently confronts the killer who took his beloved wife away from him.

That Fateful Days of our Lives Night

What actually happened the night Abigail (Marci Miller) was murdered in her bedroom at the DiMera mansion? Viewers are about to find out via a series of potent flashbacks.

“Get your hands off me,” says Abigail as she pulls away from Clyde Weston (James Read). He approaches the door, then looks back at her.

DAYS Spoilers: Facing the Truth

Meanwhile, Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) delivers devastating news to Nancy Miller (Patrika Darbo) as Bonnie Lockhart Kiriakis (Judi Evans) looks on. “Clyde murdered Abigail DiMera,” reveals Justin. A stunned Nancy begins welling up with tears, realizing the horrifying truth about her fiancé.

Confronting A Days of our Lives Killer

Chad, who’s also learned the truth, tracks Clyde down and discovers him at the cemetery. He wants answers. “I want to know why,” Chad asks the man who murdered his wife.

Flashbacks of the fateful night Abigail was murdered are interspersed with the powerful scenes at the cemetery. Abigail slugs Clyde. Then he grabs her, and they struggle before he finally stabs her.

Back at the cemetery, Chad asks again, “Why did you do it.” When Clyde doesn’t answer, a raging Chad screams out, “Why?”

DAYS Spoilers: Collision Course

Chad’s not the only one spiraling since losing Abigail. So is her mother Jennifer (Cady McClain), who’s begun popping pills to ease her pain. Jennifer shares a touching fantasy scene with her deceased daughter, telling her, “I have missed you every second of every day.”

Later, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) uncovers his wife’s secret, when he finds a bottle of prescription pills. “Jennifer is taking painkillers again,” Jack tells a concerned Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes). “Oh no,” responds Julie.

Fast forward to Jennifer behind the wheels in her car…she’s sobbing and her eyes start to close. Then, suddenly there’s the sound of screeching tires, horns blowing, and a crash.

Chad’s on a collision course, too, with Clyde. The two men begin brawling at the cemetery. Finally, Chad ends up on the ground, and Clyde is on top of him. Clyde wraps his hands around Chad’s neck and begins strangling him. See it all for yourself in the Days of our Lives promo below.
