DAYS spoilers weekly update for September 4 – September 8, 2023, tease that the week ahead will be mourning a Titan and a son seeking revenge. Tune in next week so you can catch all of the action in Salem!
This past week in Salem had the news hitting a few more people in Salem hard. Sonny (Zach Tinker) returned to mourn with his brother Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) and ran into Leo (Greg Rikaart), who tried to be sympathetic about Victor. Then Leo talked up the new love of his life, but could only show his abs. Leo later disguised himself as BFF Gwen (Emily O’Brien) in order to help Dimitri keep her in the dark about his inheritance and to actually get it. They got caught but the lawyer sympathized.
Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) returned and threw Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin), Brady (Eric Martsolf), and Belle (Martha Madison) for a loop but eventually, Belle got Brady to back down from reporting Philip’s reappearance to the police. Xander (Paul Telfer) was surprised to learn Chloe was hiding Philip in her bedroom but was grateful it wasn’t Brady. Xander also had a close call with Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and labor pains, but it was a false alarm. He’s still in the dark about being her wee one’s father.
Coming up, there are a couple of big returns headed for Salem. Plus, Dick Van Dyke will be on hand, playing a man of mystery — mostly to himself. He doesn’t have a great memory but the fine folks he meets in Salem, like Marlena (Deidre Hall) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), are determined to help him figure it all out.
