DAYS spoilers weekly update for October 9 – October 13, 2023, tease that the week ahead has two of Salem’s next generation getting bigger awfully quickly while a grownup looks pretty different. Tune in next week so you can catch all of the action in and out of Salem!
This past week in Salem, EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) got his precious mommy back when Harris (Steve Burton) and Ava (Tamara Braun), with an able assist from Rafe (Galen Gering) and even Tripp (Lucas Adams), rescued Susan (Stacy Haiduk) from her crazy ex, Edmund Crumb (Adam Caine). In turn, EJ called off his hit on Xander (Paul Telfer), since his mother was no longer needing to be avenged.
Gwen (Emily O’Brien) was determined to make Dimitri (Peter Porte) pay for his betrayal, which he did in a roundabout way. He tried to kill Stefan (Brandon Barash) and Gabi (Camila Banus), but Vivian (Louise Sorel) happened upon the scene and shot Dimitri. Eventually, it all came out and Jada (Elia Cantu) got the honor of telling Dimitri he was under arrest. Pleased with how that turned out, Gwen left Salem.
Coming up, Tate (Jaime Martin Mann) and Holly (Ashley Puzemis) are no longer youngsters but instead are moody teens, which should keep their respective parents awfully busy. Speaking of at least one of their parents, Tate’s mom, Theresa (Emily O’Brien) is sporting a new look — and she’ll use it to get closer to Alex (Robert Scott Wilson), who recently inherited half of Victor’s (John Aniston) estate.
