DAYS spoilers weekly update for January 9 – 13, 2023, tease the week ahead is full of a nasty run-in and mourning a great loss. Tune in next week so you can catch all of the action in Salem!
This week was a busy one in Salem. Sarah Horton Cook (Linsey Godfrey) realized she couldn’t trust Xander Cook (Paul Telfer). She let him know that she wanted a divorce.
The women got bad news about their health. Later, Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) had to call Kate Roberts’ (Lauren Koslow) time of death. Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), and Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) also took a turn for the worst. Plus, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) didn’t have the orchid, and she swore she didn’t have anything to do with its disappearance, but Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) was skeptical. Even so, he returned Rachel to Kristen.
Coming up, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) works to save Kayla as she, too, begins to fade. Unfortunately, before the end of the week, Steve mourns a great loss. Could that mean Kayla is no longer long for this world?
Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) makes a case for Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) to forgive him, but will she be convinced? Seems like maybe not because later, she’s pressuring Stefan O. DiMera (Brandon Barash) to get deprogrammed now that he knows the truth. Finally, after Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) has a nasty run-in with Orpheus (George DelHoyo) at Statesville, he reveals a family secret to Rex.
