DAYS Spoilers Speculation: Xander May Be a Dad…Again

DAYS spoilers seemed to max out when Xander discovered he was the biological father of Sarah’s daughter, Victoria. But let’s remember — Xander hasn’t been a monk since he and Sarah broke up. He wasn’t just living with Chloe. He was preparing to marry her. Now Chloe has left town. Which is just what happened with Sarah, oh, about nine months ago.

You’d think Xander (Paul Telfer) would know better by now. Nothing is set in stone until “I Do” is exchanged — and, even then, that can turn into “I Don’t” very quickly. This is all our way of saying that Xander shouldn’t rush into parenthood with a new woman before he knows whether or not their relationship will work out. The same goes for Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin). Only double.

Chloe Lane: Bring the Drama

Sure, it would be dramatic, if Chloe were to come back to Salem in a year with Xander’s son in tow. But, in some ways, it would actually lessen the drama. A year from now, Xander’s situation with Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) might be resolved. Why play the same story all over again? And, if it’s not resolved, why play the same story concurrently? It’s a case of diminishing returns.

Days of our Lives Spoilers: Time After Time

But, in the end, the story would be pointless from a time perspective. Not only would Xander not have time to fight two of his baby mamas for access to two of his kids, but let’s be honest: Chloe barely has time for the kid she already has. Where is Parker? Oh, yeah…in New York…with Nancy (Patrika Darbo). Why isn’t he with his mother? Because Chloe has too many other things going on. Way, way too many other things to bring another child into the mix.
