DAYS Spoilers Speculation: Sarah and Xander Reunite

DAYS spoilers totes made us think that Sarah and Xander were on their way back to being a happy family when they agreed to share custody of Victoria. But then Justin called to say that Xander had filed for sole custody, and Sarah, who knew Xander was going to fight her for the baby, was furious to learn that Xander had prepared to…fight her for her baby.

Sure, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander (Paul Telfer) love each other. Sure, they’re attracted to each other. Sure, they’re soulmates. But they also can’t communicate worth a damn. Both talk. Neither listens. Or they listen at the wrong time. Or to the wrong thing. Or they only hear what they want to hear. In any case, love and attraction are great. But everything else is a mess.

Maybe they could turn to a therapist? Or, considering how truly messed up they are, skip the psychologist and head straight for a psychiatrist. Marlena (Deidre Hall) has done battle with the Devil — multiple times. She can certainly handle a couple that’s just plain old dumb when it comes to figuring out what makes a relationship work.

But if Sarah and Xander were ever going to do anything sensible, that time has come and gone. They are just going to keep doing dumb things. Until their physical attraction takes over, and they have sex again. And they’ll assume that all their problems have been solved. If they are, it’s not just because of Victoria. It’s not just because of their crazy attraction to each other. These two will reunite because deep down, they are completely and utterly in love.
