DAYS spoilers aren’t exactly pointing to smooth sailing ahead for the newly married Nicole and EJ. For one thing, he just found out he’s been muscled out of his family company by Stefan and Gabi. For another, her daughter hates the idea of being her crush’s new little sister.
Add to all that Nicole (Arianne Zucker) still being in love with Eric (Greg Vaughan)…and unknowingly carrying his baby…and this has doomsday written all over it. How quickly will Nicole come to regret her decision to marry EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel)?
We suppose it’s possible that Nicole will get over Eric — someday. As long as she thinks she and EJ are expecting a miracle child, that could be enough to keep her loyal to her new husband. Heck, she might even truly fall in love with him. Eventually.
Nicole already isn’t looking thrilled. Just a couple of days ago, she was telling EJ to control his temper. He said he would. But that was before Stefan (Brandon Barash) and Gabi (Camila Banus) made him really, really angry. Now Nicole is looking at a lifetime — or until the next plot twist, at least — with a guy in a perpetual bad mood. That’s not what she signed up for. Even if it comes with a mansion.
The minute Nicole finds out her baby is Eric’s, she won’t even remember what the initials EJ stand for. (To be fair, neither do the writers. It’s not Elvis Junior. It’s Elvis John, but that’s another story for another time.) She will make a beeline for her baby daddy, shove Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) out of the way if she has to, and throw herself into his arms. EJ was only a marriage of convenience for her. The minute it becomes inconvenient, we predict that Nicole will be out of there.
