DAYS spoilers gave us the idea that where modern medicine fails, Susan will come through. Sloan faked Nicole’s paternity test, making her think that EJ is the daddy, not Eric.

But science and deception can’t fool Susan (Stacy Haiduk). She made it clear that she felt no connection to Nicole’s (Arianne Zucker) unborn bundle of joy, and that means the truth is poised to come out. Once it does, what will Nicole do?

Sure, Nicole agreed to marry EJ (Dan Feuerriegel). But that was when she thought he was the father of her child. Who cares that he has been nothing but kind and supportive to her, that he truly loves her, that he didn’t throw her out the minute she admitted she made a mistake? That’s Eric’s (Greg Vaughan) modus operandi. But Nicole will never love EJ the way she loves Eric. And once the baby is proven to be his, that will give Nicole all the excuse she needs to go running back to her ex-husband.

The truth about the baby’s paternity doesn’t mean that Nicole and Eric will figure out Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) was the one who did it. In that case, Eric will still have a responsibility to Sloan. He did ask her to marry him, too. They are planning to adopt a baby together. Yeah, we don’t think that will concern Nicole one iota. She’ll say “buh-bye” to EJ. And insist that Eric do the same to Sloan.
DAYS Spoilers: And Baby Makes Three
Eric wants to be a father more than he wants anything else. Any woman will do at this point. He was willing to go for it with Sloan, but now that Nicole is offering him a family even faster, he’ll go rushing to her side even before he finds out Sloan is the one responsible for this triangle. Let’s face it: Nobody here is a nice or even decent person. Poor baby.
