DAYS spoilers have been hinting quite strongly that Allie Horton will be one of those most affected by the death of her beloved grandmother, Marlena Evans. We saw a sneak preview of her frustration and anger when Allie didn’t like girlfriend Chanel Dupree innocently — more or less — comforting ex-husband Johnny DiMera — Allie’s twin.
DAYS Spoilers Speculation
Hey, he was upset about Marlena (Deidre Hall), too! And she was the second grandmother he’s lost in as many months. Johnny (Carson Boatman) is double the sads! And he deserves double the comfort! Allie’s lost two too so what about her? Will we be seeing more and more of this bitter Allie (Lindsay Arnold) as time goes on? And could this turn her into the ultimate Salem troublemaker…her own mother, Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney)?
Sweetness and Light
Not our Allie, 6% of the audience cries out. She’s nothing like Sami. All Allie has done since coming to Salem is falsely accuse an innocent man of rape, give up her baby, reclaim him, and cheat on her boyfriend, Tripp (Lucas Adams) with Chanel (Raven Bowens). Are those the actions of a girl who could ever go bad? We don’t think so.
DAYS Spoilers: Short-Term Badness
She’ll be upset for a while, 32% of you concede, and that might cause Allie to make less-than-stellar decisions. But she’ll snap out of it soon enough. Marlena was Allie’s guiding beacon, and she’ll probably think she’s lost without her moral compass. But then Marlena will return. And Allie will straighten up and fly right. She and Chanel will go back to playing house. And maybe see if Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) would like to join them again.
Days of our Lives: See It Now
It’s been going on for a while, 62% would like to go on the record as pointing out. Allie has never been a saint. She’s just thought of herself as one. Now that the gloves are off, she’ll accept her true destiny as Sami 2.0. And we’re here for it!
