DAYS spoilers are leading fans to think that Leo’s much-proclaimed devotion to the new “love of his life” Dimitri might start to cool if Dimitri is sent to prison – and takes his magic manhood with him. (Hey, Gwen tried to help Leo out by giving him a souvenir of his favorite times with Dimitri, but Leo was the one who stopped her.) How long will Leo’s devotion last?
DAYS Spoiler Speculation: Fantasy Island
We’re sure that, in his mind, Leo (Greg Rikaart) is a Stand-By-Your Man kind of guy. He will park himself outside Dimitri’s (Peter Porte) jail cell window, wave a handkerchief, and visit him every day. He may even bring along home-baked goods with a file inside. At least for a little while.
The Leo we’ve been watching on and off for literally years gets bored easily. He needs to be adored, and it’s hard to adore from prison. Once there’s nothing else Dimitri can do for him, there is nothing else Leo will feel obliged to provide for him.
Days of our Lives: The Heart Won’t Lie
In addition to being easily bored, Leo is also skilled at self-deception. We’re sure that, even as he leaves Dimitri behind for newer, hotter pastures, he will tell himself that he’s still in love. He’s just putting that love on the back burner. He’ll still pine for Dimitri, and Dimitri will still pine for him, and they’ll pick up right where they left off…as soon as Dimitri (and his magic penis) serves his time.
DAYS Spoilers: Time Lapse
What if it’s not a quick in and out, as it where, trip to prison for Dimitri? What if he goes up the river for years? He did try to kill Gabi (Camila Banus) and Stefan (Brandon Barash). That’s still a crime, even in Salem. Leo will proclaim his love for a bit and, he’ll try to be faithful for a bit. But, how long can he claim to be in love while yearning for more? How long can he last…a week? A month? He definitely won’t make it to Dimitri’s first parole hearing.
Leo has no loyalty. We saw that with what he did to Gwen (Emily O’Brien). He knew her a lot longer than he knew — and allegedly loved — Dimitri. The man will be nothing but a memory in no time.
